Reissued for the first time on vinyl since 1991, Voice of the Beehive’s Honey Lingers saw the US/UK band build further on their signature mix of jangly guitars, upbeat rhythms, and melodic pop hooks towards a glossier, more mainstream sound. Featuring three UK Top 40 singles, ‘Monsters and Angels,’ ‘I Think I Love You’ and ‘Perfect Place;’ the album reached Silver sales in the UK.

This edition is freshly remastered with new liner notes from vocalist Tracey Brynn,  housed in a gatefold sleeve and pressed on limited edition pink vinyl.

‘Monsters and Angels’ was the first taste of Voice of The Beehive’s Honey Lingers. A bittersweet alt-pop track, it reflected the band’s shift towards a more expansive, ambitious sound. The single was their 4th UK Top 40, also peaking at #8 on the US Modern Rock radio chart. 

This exclusive bonus CD single features the 2025 remaster of the single, plus five tracks unavailable anywhere else: the original demo of ‘Monsters and Angels,’ two mixes of tracks by PWL’s production duo Harding & Curnow (‘Monsters and Angels,’ ‘Say It’), the original version of ‘Little Gods’ and a second alternative mix of ‘Perfect Place’ by Dave Bascombe.
